Glorious Spring Wedding
I finally had a bit of time to recap some of our wedding details. Some of you needed inspiration as you're about to embark on your own wedding planning. Let me just say, as a former event planner, this was pretty tricky even for me. Without further ado, here are the highlights:
The cutest cake top and wedding invite in the world, by my dear friend Delphine Doreau.
The most gorgeous red gown by Amy-Jo Tatum...I wanted something to wow folks on the dance floor and she nailed it.
Here is the Pearl Daisy Feather Fascinator from HemsandBustles on Etsy.
A delectable baby pink fondant cake with tiny flowers, from Matthew Reilly of Angry Baker. Matt went above and beyond with his baking skills.
We wanted live music for the ceremony and drink reception, so we were very fortunate to have Leo King play his bossa nova, flamenco and classical tunes.
Lovely flowers from Erika Frank Floral Design...she knew exactly what we wanted and made every arrangement stand out. My white peony and red tulip bridal bouquet was a knockout.
Catering manager Alicia of La Mediterranee was so on top of everything. Every single guest raved about their food, such as their famous potato salad.
We got chocolate truffles from Vosges Haut-Chocolat as wedding favors. Everyone gobbled them up within minutes.
The super talented DJ Olly spinning her musical genius for us. She got everyone (except the shy folks) to rock out on the dance floor.
One of the many beautiful kids joining in the festivities.
Ahhh...enjoying a few seconds of peace before joining our beloved guests for dinner, drinks and dancing.
Big, heartfelt, grateful thanks to:
